About the notebook
A student newspaper, kept readable after its website went dark.
In the paper's own words
DaVinci's Notebook is the student newspaper for students at DaVinci Academy of Science & the Arts. It is established as a public forum for students.

DaVinci's Notebook welcomes appropriate letters to the editors expressing alternative points of view, feedback, and concerns. Letters may be edited for length, clarity and appropriateness.
About this archive
The paper's website ran on WordPress through the 2017/18 school year and went offline in 2019. Its articles survived in web archive snapshots. 126 of them, from 5 school years, have been rebuilt here with their original wording, bylines and photographs.
Some pieces were deliberately left out: profiles of individual students, memorial pieces and personal essays about family. They were written by and about young people, and a public archive is the wrong place to keep them.
A few articles about films, music, games or events now end with a short archive note on what happened next, checked against published sources. Old article addresses forward to the restored pages.
