Boys First Volleyball Game!
DaVinci Academy fielded its first men’s volleyball team in fall 2015 and won its opening match against UMA.
September 9th, 2015 was DaVinci Academy’s very first men’s volleyball game for the season. This year we decided to switch things up a bit and include a men’s volleyball team. The match was astonishing; being the men’s very first game, they fought for the win until the very end against UMA. Anthony Castillo, number 27, scored the very first and last point of the game. “I was very excited and [it] made me feel like I was going to start the season off great,” said Anthony Castillo.
UMA had gotten ahead of us but DaVinci fought back with the help of our amazing players.
Even though there was one bad thing it was still an amazing game with celebrations for DaVinci as we won. There will be many more games and we will have to wait and see if DaVinci can win them all and bring home our very first men’s volleyball trophy.
