Video Game Reviews
The Halo Array

Halo is a video game where you fight aliens to save earth, and it has some ups and downs in terms of player interaction. It excels in its plot and character buildup, especially when interacting and bonding with other players.
In my honest opinion, the developers have some room for improvement with certain objects and levels. As an example, they could have created more, larger battles with large, random addition of enemies instead of shooting waves of aliens.
Items such as the plot sequence were sometimes overdone. It consists solely of going to places and killing people. It would also be nice if some plot twists were included. Maybe the humans could be secretly helping the aliens.
Also, the soundtrack for Halo Combat Evolved 3 was somewhat repetitive. Martin O Dell, the music composer, recycled some music from previous versions, such as in Halo 4 where it is only rewritten versions. Speaking of reused stuff, the Halo MCC was full of renewed content.
What Halo did next
This review ran three weeks before Halo 5: Guardians came out on Xbox One on October 27, 2015. The Master Chief Collection it mentions had launched on Xbox One in November 2014; it was later ported to PC and enhanced for Xbox Series X.
A small correction for readers: the composer of the early Halo scores is Martin O’Donnell, who wrote the music for Bungie’s Halo games and co-produced the first soundtracks with Michael Salvatori.
The next main game, Halo Infinite, was released on December 8, 2021. Master Chief also left the console. A live-action Halo series premiered on Paramount+ on March 24, 2022, ran for two seasons and was canceled in July 2024. In October 2024, 343 Industries changed its name to Halo Studios.
