Carly Rae Jepsen’s newest single, “I Really Like You,” has swept the nation with its rather catchy beat and funky word choice. Hearing it on the radio usually puts any listener in a fun and happy mood right then. Though, the number of times that “really” is mentioned in this pop song can be really annoying, but you can’t deny that it is super catchy.

This song has probably been played over and over and over… But it still seems to lift me up. Personally, I love this song. Like, I really, really, really love this song! The way that it automatically pulls you in and practically makes you turn the volume up is fantastic! Carly did an amazing job putting this together.

This is the type of song that you could sing or play with your crush because it explains your feelings towards them! You may come off as a little creepy but I think that Jepsen made this to help awkward teenagers out, in a way.

Do not even get me started on the music video! She used the amazingly talented Tom Hanks to be the center of her video. He lip synced the whole song. I really thought that was funny and creative. Not to mention the fact that Justin Bieber debuted in the last scene. The song plus the music video created the whole package. This definitely is one single that will go down in music history.

No matter what the negative critics have to say, I love this song.
