Mrs. Skye Rosdahl is an art teacher at DaVinci Academy. She teaches art foundations, drawing, painting and Senior Portfolio. The reason she decided to come to DaVinci was because she was looking for schools to teach at, and she happened to visit DaVinci. She asked one of the students what it was like here and the student said that, “It feels like home here, I never want to leave.” This is definitely a good reason for a teacher to want to start at a school. She loves helping students, and this is her second year at DaVinci.

She has been an artist since she was a child. She worked all the way through school to a Bachelor of Fine Arts at her alma mater, Southern Utah University. Then she was on her way to teaching. Before she came to DaVinci, she had taught at Cedar Middle School and had volunteered in Washington DC and at a center for teaching Native American children.

Some of her hobbies include: art (of course), traveling, hiking, running, cross country, and cooking. She is very competitive when it comes to Ultimate Frisbee. She loves animals, and her favorite is the giraffe. When it comes to music, she’s not picky; she loves all kinds. One of her favorite DaVinci traditions is that the seniors get a special place to stand at assemblies, up on the second floor of the school gym.
